Standard & Poor's Rating Services raised its issuer credit rating on St. Louis Community College to AA+ from AA according to the college.

From The St. Louis Business Journal...

Representatives of Standard & Poor's told the college that the ratings reflect the college's participation in an economic area including St. Louis City and county, its operational flexibility, strong financial operations with strong reserves and low overall debt burden.
